Pakistani companies expected to generate over $15 million business at Arab Health expo — envoy

The Arab Health medical expo in Dubai has become a key platform for Pakistan’s pharmaceutical and surgical industries to expand their reach globally.

Khalique Ur Rehman, Associate Director of International Business at Shaigan Pharmaceuticals, shared his excitement, saying, “Five years ago, we were in only five markets. Now, we’re in 13. Thanks to Arab Health, we’ve grown from four to 25 markets it’s truly a ‘wow effect’ for us.”

Shaigan, an Islamabad-based company, showcased its diverse range of pharma, nutraceutical, and veterinary medicines at the expo. Currently exporting to 13 countries, they aim to extend that to 30 by the end of 2025. Rehman emphasized how vital these events are, offering opportunities to meet potential clients and break into new markets.

Emad-ud-Din, Export Manager at Don Valley Pharmaceuticals, echoed this success, mentioning they had already attracted six or seven new clients at the expo, underscoring how crucial such platforms are for growth.

With hundreds of visitors and countless networking opportunities, Arab Health is proving to be the ideal stage for Pakistan’s pharmaceutical sector to shine on the global stage.
