A Landmark Healthcare Project for Faisalabad
Faisalabad is witnessing a significant milestone in its healthcare sector with the launch of a new 166-bed hospital. Developed by Interloop Holdings and Interloop Welfare Trust in partnership with Shifa International Hospitals, this project promises to reshape medical access for the city’s residents.
In its first phase, the hospital will operate with 166 beds, offering a wide range of medical specialties and a modern emergency department. Once fully completed, the facility will expand to 423 beds, ensuring advanced healthcare services are available locally without the need for patients to travel to Lahore or Islamabad.
The hospital will be managed by Shifa International Hospitals Ltd., supported by a team of experienced doctors and paramedical staff. This collaboration ensures that patients in Faisalabad will benefit from internationally recognized medical expertise and standards.
Interloop Chairman Musadaq Zulqarnain emphasized that the hospital’s mission goes beyond treatment—it aims to strengthen the city’s economic and social fabric. By reducing the need for long-distance travel for healthcare, families can save both time and money while accessing quality medical care closer to home.
A key highlight of the project is its ambition to secure accreditation from the Joint Commission International (JCI). This certification will align the hospital with global healthcare standards, reinforcing trust and confidence among patients and professionals alike.
The development of this hospital signals a new era for Faisalabad’s healthcare infrastructure. With modern facilities, specialized departments, and a commitment to international standards, the city is set to become a hub for accessible, high-quality medical services.
