The minister stressed that safeguarding public health is a top priority and directed officials to accelerate the upgrade process.
Project Director Dr. Syed Murtaza Shah briefed Kamal on the ongoing efforts under the Directorate of Broader Health Services. The plan includes enhancing medical equipment, improving patient access, and integrating digital health solutions to streamline services.
Kamal also visited the Health Ministry’s Karachi camp office, where he reiterated the importance of proactive healthcare and community engagement. His vision aims to reduce the burden on hospitals by empowering local dispensaries to handle routine and preventive care.
