Minister Kamal’s vision centers on mobilizing parents and caregivers to proactively seek immunization services. Rather than relying solely on outreach, the plan encourages families to visit government health facilities, fostering a culture of health ownership and long-term wellness.
Strategic Overhaul
During his visit to the Federal Directorate of Immunization (FDI), Kamal reviewed operational challenges and directed the immediate recruitment of qualified professionals to fill vacant positions. He emphasized the need for transparent hiring and performance-based evaluations to ensure service quality.
Tech-Driven Support
The minister also inspected the 1166 Sehat Tahaffuz Helpline and the Vaccine Logistics Management Information System (vLMIS), issuing directives to enhance digital infrastructure and streamline vaccine delivery. These platforms are vital for real-time tracking, public engagement, and efficient resource allocation.
National Coordination
Kamal announced plans to collaborate with provincial health ministers to unify immunization efforts across Pakistan. This includes addressing regional disparities, improving cold chain logistics, and expanding outreach in underserved areas.
