Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, conducted an official visit to Pakistan’s first National Police Hospital, currently under construction at the Police Lines Headquarters.
During the visit, he was accompanied by DIG Headquarters and other senior police officials. The IGP issued clear directives to expedite the construction process and ensure that the facility meets international healthcare standards.
Speaking on the occasion, IGP Rizvi emphasized that several development initiatives have been launched for the welfare of Islamabad Police personnel. He stated that the National Police Hospital will serve not only police officers and their families but also the general public, offering quality medical services.
“Our aim is to provide maximum relief and facilities to police officers across all sectors,” said IGP Rizvi. “Projects like these will uplift the morale of the force and strengthen their families’ trust in institutional support.”
The IGP reiterated that enhancing the quality of life for police officers remains a top priority, with multiple steps underway to resolve their issues and upgrade welfare infrastructure.
This hospital, once completed, is expected to mark a major milestone in public safety and law enforcement healthcare in Pakistan.
