$15 Million in Expected Deals from Surgical Sector Alone
Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi revealed that Pakistani surgical manufacturers anticipate business deals worth approximately $15 million as a direct outcome of their participation in the expo. This figure does not even account for potential agreements secured by pharmaceutical companies, further highlighting Pakistan’s growing influence in the global healthcare market.
Overwhelmingly Positive Response from Global Investors
The participation of Pakistani companies at the expo was deemed a “success,” with both surgical equipment manufacturers and pharmaceutical firms receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from international buyers, investors, and healthcare professionals.
“Arab Health is the largest exhibition worldwide for the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, where we received an excellent response from visitors, clients, and investors,” said Bilal Tanveer, a director at Durable Hospital Supplies, a leading surgical goods manufacturer based in Sialkot.
Strong Presence of Pakistani Surgical Industry
Out of the 40 Pakistani companies present at the exhibition, 34 were from the surgical sector, underscoring the country’s strong foothold in this specialized industry. Many companies successfully signed or initiated business deals, cementing Pakistan’s reputation as a key player in the global surgical and medical supplies market.
