The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Paramedical Association has announced a province-wide sit-in scheduled for November 25 in Peshawar to demand post upgradation and salary increases. District President Khalid Khan emphasized that paramedics from across the province, including the Hazara division, will join this demonstration to push for their rights.
Khalid Khan revealed that despite several months of effort, their demands for adequate pay, pensions, and professional recognition remain unfulfilled. “If the government does not address our demands, we will launch indefinite street protests,” he warned while speaking to reporters on Thursday.
He further stated that the association is actively coordinating with district bodies to ensure the success of the sit-in. Paramedical staff from Mansehra and other areas of Hazara division are expected to participate in large numbers.
